Consistency:

Well, no other product works quite like this one. Xen-Tan expects you to work for your premium sunless tan. The top of this bottle is a dial, a sun-tan dial if you will, and by choosing from ten shades of bronzed god(ess) the nozzle selects a different amount of bronzer and moisturiser from two separate containers to create ten varying shades. Ingenious. The tan is applied with a mitt and feels like cocoa butter which sinks into the skin quickly.

As the product is so soft, it’s perfect for (fe)male hairy bodies and glides over chest and leg hair without missing a spot - although the nozzle is a little stingy with dispensing product and a little extra care and attention needs to be paid to forestry.

Streak factor:

Streaks happen to the best of tanners but this product can help to minimise it by being so quick to apply. A well lit room will help you trace areas you have covered before but this tan doesn’t show as instantly as others.

Aroma:

A faint hint of watermelon. Surprising I know, but nonetheless pleasant to one’s nasal passages. Once applied the tan leaves no scent.

Longevity:

The tan develops in three hours but encourages reapplication by choosing to dispense just toner (by selecting the tenth option on the dial) to top up.

Tan out of ten?

A sunless tan that may eclipse the rest. A fabulous product with great results for a quickie on the go (the kind we all love).
