Ahh sweet memories.

It could be the place you and your partner first locked lips, the location of your first holiday together or the street where you first shared a home. Bombus is an online retailer made up of a team of art graduates who specialise in ‘creating something from nothing’. Their best selling products to date are these thoughtful bespoke map heart gifts.

The hand-glazed, hand-cut, giant heart-shaped maps are made from real vintage map collections – not printouts. They come complete with age spots and natural folds.

Customers select their location of choice, which can be anywhere in the world. The map is then hand-cut into the shape of a heart and mounted on textured watercolour paper.

With Valentine’s Day approaching, these are a great alternative to chocolates or flowers and are particularly handy for those who don’t have a knack for arts and crafts.
