I just can't get enough of... Riverford organic boxes

Technological advances now mean that whether you're after an outfit, a holiday or a new fridge, you don't have to go any further than your laptop and mouse.

The supermarket giants have also caught onto online shopping with their home deliveries. However, those who prefer to support home grown produce should try Riverford's organic, seasonal veg, fruit, meat, juices and more, straight from the farm to your door.

Riverford Organic Veg began with Devon farmer Guy Watson, three acres of land and a wheelbarrow. His aim was to provide families with fresh veg at an affordable price. Guy said: “It's normally no more than two days from the field to the doorstep.” And when it lands on your doorstep, you'll see the difference immediately. Earth, roots and the true hearty smell of real fruit and veg. No waxiness or nasty chemical tastes.

Riverford now have several sister farms throughout the country. The farm serving Greater Manchester and Liverpool is Stockley Farm in Cheshire and for Leeds, Home Farm in Yorkshire.

The farms offer free delivery and proudly state that they are '19 per cent cheaper than the supermarkets.'

Every week, Riverford offer a different fruit box, veg box and meat box based on seasonal produce. Prices vary from £6.95 for a family salad mix to £16.45 for a large veg box. Or for those carnivores among us there's a mega meaty box for £86.95.
