Sex and the City cupcakes

It's all about the three C's this month. Carrie, Cosmo's and Cupcakes...

‘Cupcakes and the City’ is a collection of four fabulous cakes inspired by Sex and the City. They're the perfect accessory to our favourite girls' return to the big screen later this month.

Hey Little Cupcake! creator and Sex and the City fanatic Sarah Wilson designed the cakes.

She said: “Sex and the City inspired me to start Hey Little Cupcake! So to create a special collection in honour of the hit show has been the icing on the cake. I love doing anything that gets the girls together and hope that my ‘Cupcakes and the City’ collection will give some sugarcoated glamour to every girly get-together.”

The four flavours have been designed to match the SATC girls' personalities and tastes:

Cosmo Girl Carrie – a cranberry sponge base with Cointreau buttercream icing topped with a lime wedge and sugar sprinkles.

Naughty Girl Samantha – a chocolate sponge base with chocolate buttercream icing topped with a pair of sugar gum lips and red glitter.

Good Girl Charlotte – a vanilla sponge base with pink vanilla buttercream icing topped with sugar pearls and glitter. This is a classic little cupcake with 50 per cent less sugar.

Ginger Girl Miranda – a ginger sponge base with ginger buttercream icing topped with ginger sprinkles and caramel curls.
