Alice By Temperley Talent

FASHION designer Alice Temperley has launched a project to support and cultivate upcoming young talent, entitled Alice By Temperley Talent. The London-based designer, who was honoured as Designer of the Year 2011 at the Hollywood Style Awards Gala, will choose one lucky, young model, actress, musician, illustrator or artist to represent the collection and interpret it in their own way.

The designer’s muse of the season will be filmed during her Alice adventure, of which the footage will be shown on the Temperley website and through Facebook and Twitter.

"I am always on the lookout for new talent and love being inspired by unique skills and meeting artisans with passion for their craft," explained Temperley. "Alice by Temperley is our contemporary line whose muses are iconic artists in the history of film, music or art. It was appropriate to dedicate space and time to promote emerging talent through the platforms and audiences we have available to us, supporting the future icons."

The project will debut with the Pre A/W 2012 collection and stars unsigned singer/songwriter Isabel, who the designer discovered at Glastonbury last year.
