About the blogger: A childhood companion can be many things; an imaginary friend, a pet, even a toy, but for Ari Seth Cohen it was his grandmother who took that number one spot.  She was not only his best friend, but an inspiration to create the blog which has taken him so far. Through this man and the style his grandmother never lost, Advanced Style was born.

Ari captures the essence of life experience - an incomparable asset to each individual. In some kind of Derren Brown way, Ari can spot them a mile off. The blog’s content is mainly photographs and street shots full of energy, but you’ll also find videos and blog entries from the stylish elders themselves.

Why do we love it?  The love for this blog is personal to each reader. Advanced Style touches its readers via passionate quotes and wise advice from the women (and a few men) in the photographs. It almost creates a new outlook on life and shows off the happiness of a life well lived. The women promote healthy living, happiness, and ‘dressing for the theatre of our lives every day’.
