About the blogger: The blog is the brainchild of writer Danielle Henderson and was inspired following Goslings recent rant about women’s historical challenge with representation on the big screen.

“The MPAA is okay supporting scenes that portray women in scenarios of sexual torture and violence for entertainment purposes, but they are trying to force us to look away from a scene that shows a woman in a sexual scenario which is both complicit and complex. It’s misogynistic in nature to try and control a woman’s sexual presentation of self.”

What is it about? In a nutshell, the blog shows pictures of the fervently lusted after Notebook star, Ryan Gosling, coupled with intellectual feminist theory quotes - each starting with Gosling's fabled "Hey Girl" epithet.

Why do we love it? What’s not to love about this blog? Intellectual feel-good-feminist-wisdom, check. Ryan Goslings face, check. 

 I­t's a great juxtaposit­ion of feminist ideas which basically amounts to the objectific­ation of Gosling. It’s ironic, funny, and clever - a humorous nod to the fact that Gosling is one of the more outwardly gender-progressive stars we've seen lately.
