Whether any of these actually work is a whole other matter, but one clothing company seems to be offering a diet-free alternative to the aforementioned options. Yes that’s right, without so much as munching on a stick of celery, a pair of Hello! SkinnyJeans will apparently make you look slimmer.

Nitewash

Made in L.A. (let’s be honest, where else would they be from?) these jeans are made from classic denim with a high nylon and elastane content to give them a ‘beefy’ strength. This means that any lumps and bumps in your legs will be sucked in and you’ll have instantly thinner thighs.

The denim is super-stretchy, with its in built strength creating a ‘memory’ to fit the shape of your leg perfectly.

The quality isn’t compromised in the design, with 76 percent cotton making up the majority of the material. They’ve also got everything you’d expect from a normal pair of jeans with front pockets and a zip keeping them from looking like jeggings.

Waist sizes start at 23 inches and go right up to 38 inches, with leg sizes varying from 30 to 37 inches – not that they think you’ll end up looking that size though.

Blackwash

Whilst they’re already widely available in the US, they’re only stocked by a few online retailers in the UK with Slimming Solutions selling each pair of Hello! Skinny Jeans for £148.

They’ve been highly regarded by the New York Times Style Magazine and whilst the London Confidential team are yet to try a pair, we’re giving them our stamp of approval purely for the idea and feat of design – even if we’re still a bit skeptical of their skinniness.
