Alexandra Burke To Light Up Cheshire Oaks

CHESHIRE Oaks Designer Outlet is once again launching the festive season in style this year, with one of the Britain’s biggest pop stars, Alexandra Burke, against the backdrop of Britain’s biggest and most eye-dazzling Christmas tree.

As well as the pop star performances, visitors to this year’s tree lighting will be treated to exclusive promotions, money-can’t-buy prizes and a fireworks extravaganza.

Alexandra will join a whole host of other music acts, including boyband Eli Prime, Liverpool singer Chelsea Grimes and a variety of stars from this year’s X Factor in lighting Britain’s biggest Christmas tree on Friday 11 November between 5-8pm.

At over 90 feet tall, the tree is home to 80,000 baubles and 100,000 lights, making it the biggest tree lighting event in the country.

Last year’s event attracted over 15,000 people as chart topping boy band The Wanted pushed the button. Previous performers included Shayne Ward, The Saturdays, Mr Hudson, Eliza Doolittle and Basshunter.

As well as the pop star performances, visitors to this year’s tree lighting will be treated to exclusive promotions, money-can’t-buy prizes and a fireworks extravaganza.

McArthurGlen Cheshire Oaks is home to over 145 designer and high street brands including Mulberry, Armani, LK Bennett and Superdry, all at up to 60 per cent less all year round, making it the ideal destination to pick up gifts for all the family. On Friday 11 November, all stores at the centre will be open from 10am until 10pm with a special 10 per cent discount card available all day.
