‘SWISH’ IF YOU WANT TO SAVE: Beautiful Being, the lifestyle makeover consultancy, will be holding a ‘swishing’ event on Thursday 3 November, 6-8pm, at Pixie in Hale, Cheshire, to celebrate their launch.

Being Beautiful fashion stylist and personal shopper Johanna Bolhoven said: “Swishing is basically clothes swapping to promote recycling/sustainable shopping. The items should ideally be high street designer and be unworn or barely used - one woman's impulse buy is another woman's dream purchase.”

Too true. Entry to the event costs £10 per person and for that you get a glass of fizz and a cupcake to enjoy while you exchange your unwanted good quality clothes for gorgeous new-to-you items. There will also be makeovers, personal styling demos and inner wellbeing tasters taking place.

FREE NIKE TRAINING CLASSES: Confidential had the pleasure (and pain) of experiencing a Nike Training Club session at JJB in the Trafford Centre last week. It may sound a bit strange, working out in the middle of a shop, but oddly enough it worked.

Claire Bayliss, JJB Marketing Director said “We have transformed the JJB Trafford Store into the shopping destination for women’s sportswear. The new-look store now offers the latest in Women’s Training footwear and apparel, and the weekly Nike Training Club classes offer shoppers a unique in-store experience”.

The hi-tempo class included a full body workout of cardio and resistance training led by Nike sponsored health and fitness coach, Paul Stannard. The classes focus on the five fundamental components of sport and fitness: strength, cardio, core, balance and flexibility.

Totally free of charge, ladies who are interested can get whipped into shape by clicking ‘Like’ on the Nike Training Club Facebook page and following the online booking instructions.

Classes take place every Wednesday at JJB Trafford Centre in the Nike Women’s area of the store from 6.30pm – 7.30pm.
