History

Boudoir was established in 2007 by Amy Louise Keating, an experienced personal shopper, stylist and fashion buyer. Her perfect eye for fashion meant the small store in Cavern Walks quickly caught the attention of local fashionistas and had to expand. The store now trades from two floors of the Cavern Walks shopping centre, with Boudoir Boutique upstairs and Boudette downstairs.

What does it sell?

Boudoir Boutique has an amazing range of designer collections including Zhandra Rhodes, Forever Unique, Terry De Havvilands, Mawi and LAMB. Their range of accessories is to die for, with bags and shoes to make a girls’ heart beat that little bit faster.

The store also sells luxury items for the home which fit perfectly with the store’s opulent style and feel. When visiting this week, I fell in love with at least five things that I want in my home.

Who shops there?

Boudoir attracts those in the fashion know as well as a range of celebrities including X Factor’s Rebecca Ferguson, TV presenter Jenny frost and local shopaholic, businesswoman and super WAG Coleen Rooney.

Why shop there?

Despite its celebrity following and cult status, Boudoir offers an amazing shopping experience for anyone who walks through the door. The staff are helpful and know their stuff, which is a refreshing change from a lot of high street stores.

The attention to detail of the store from the overall look, to the amazing selection of clothes draws you in and there is so much to get through that one visit is never enough.

They also offer fashion styling and consultation advice for big events and special occasions. If you need an outfit with that little bit extra, Boudoir is the place to go.

Future

With founder Amy winning awards, a visit from fashion icon Zandra Rhodes, celebrity clients and an amazing store, where can Boudoir Boutique go? My prediction is that it can only get bigger and better.

Verdict

Boudoir Boutique offers a luxurious shopping experience, definitely living up to their slogan: ‘In here, life is beautiful’.
