Valentine’s weekend is here and House of Fraser is doing everything short of painting the store red. If you’re planning to get your loved one a gift this weekend, make House of Fraser your first point of call - they’ve got every present possibility covered, plus lots of in-store freebies to be had...

On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 February, House of Fraser Manchester will be lit up in red – you won’t be able to miss it. On the lower ground floor, male shoppers will be able to shop for a sharp new outfit ready for their Valentine’s date. There will also be a Chanel pop up shop and a lingerie pop up shop in menswear, for any last minute girlfriend gifts.

In the beauty hall, Clarins will be offering exclusive pamper packages and complimentary Champagne and chocolates at the counter. YSL will be running a kissable lips competition with a luxury hamper up for grabs and Bare Minerals will be giving away a pamper weekend to one lucky customer.

Spend £50 at Origins and get a free facial and 15ml serum, whilst over on the Kiehls counter, you can take advantage of free hand and arm massages. On Saturday only, Bobbi Brown has a treat for Valentine’s Day singletons. Customers will be able to test their new lippy on a male model’s white shirt whilst having a Polaroid snapshot taken. The best shot will win a luxury goody bag.

When visiting the fashion floors, make sure you lookout for massages, nails and makeover demonstrations with complimentary cava and chocolates. Men will also be invited to try the top ten male fragrances in-store.

There’ll be a wedding theme up on the fourth floor. If you’re planning a wedding this is the perfect opportunity to chat to a wedding list advisor and try chocolate samples and cupcakes. For families, visit the sixth floor where kids can enjoy face painting and card decorating.

As well as all this there will be hunky male models and lingerie models in-store who will be handing out competition entry forms to be in with a chance to win trip to Jamaica when you purchase an item of lingerie or mens' underwear.
