SHOPPERS struggling to choose between the ethics of charity shopping and the trends of high street shopping finally have a solution thanks to a new boutique studio called Remade in Leeds.
Tucked away in the back streets of Hyde Park, Remade in Leeds offers unique, recycled and vintage collections from in-house brand Antiform and a plethora of local designers who work together in the studio to create one-off, on-trend items for the ethical fashionista.
Remade in Leeds combines the craftsmanship and quality of designers with the price of the high street and the environmental awareness of charity shops - filling the niche market for fashionable, affordable, ethical clothing.
The designers hold numerous workshops for local youth and community groups and donate their unsold items to a range of Leeds hospices.
A three day launch is being held between Thursday 31 March and Saturday 2 April. On March 31 at 6pm, the renovated studio, new website and the designers’ new collection will be revealed to the public for the first time with a stylish launch party complete with cocktails, cupcakes, DJs, fashion and press.
The celebration is set to continue over the following two days with a secret treasure hunt, free giveaways, prizes, a style spotter in the park and ending with the biggest ever Remade in Leeds clothes exchange in the studio on April 2.
Join the ethical fashion revolution at Remade in Leeds, 25 Back Kensington Terrace, and keep your eyes peeled for treasure in the park.
