We Love London Retro

GEEK chic just came of age, thanks to vintage-inspired eyewear brand London Retro. Thought up by a group of London-based glasses-wearing city-slickers, who view glasses more as fashion accessories than optical necessities, the London Retro range is inspired by the coolest hangouts in the fashion capital.

Taking a cue from John Lennon-style specs and Buddy Holly-influenced wayfarers, the frames reflect fashion icons of the past whilst retaining a modern edge and what’s more, prices are reasonable.

There are nine different styles in the collection, each priced at £99, and the style hubs of London lend their names to all of the frames such as Shoreditch, Kings and Carnaby. The prices also include single vision lenses and a bespoke brown leather-look case. All frames can be tinted to create sunglasses too – great news for glasses wearers in summer. And for non-glasses wearers like me? Suddenly I’m not so smug about my 20/20 vision...

The London Retro range can be viewed at www.londonretro.com and are currently available to buy online through Glasses Direct and Designer Glasses Shop.
